These are learning-oriented roles; scope, duration, and whether the work is remote are settled by arrangement.
Legal Research Intern
Support the research behind our educational guides and articles on Indian intellectual property law.
What you would do
- Read and summarise statutes, rules, and reported judgments on copyright, trademarks, contracts, and personality rights
- Track regulatory and policy updates relevant to creators and small businesses
- Prepare clear research notes and source lists that writers can build on
- Fact-check drafts against primary sources
This role suits you if
- You are studying law or have completed a law degree in India
- You are comfortable working with bare acts, case databases, and official gazettes
- You write concise, well-organised notes and cite carefully
Legal Content Intern
Turn researched material into plain-language explainers that a non-lawyer can follow.
What you would do
- Draft blog posts and practice-area explainers from research notes
- Rework dense legal language into clear, accurate, everyday English
- Structure articles with useful headings, examples, and FAQs
- Work with the research intern to keep every claim traceable to a source
This role suits you if
- You have a law background or a strong interest in legal topics
- You can explain a complex rule simply without losing accuracy
- You have writing samples you can share (published or unpublished)
